I graduated from Northbrook College in 2009 with a first class BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art: Sculpture. I currently create multimedia installations by exploring kinetics, sound and digital video. This work relates directly to research where I have investigated some of the biological and technological developments in contemporary society. My art is intended to portray a humorous interplay between the hybridisation of the biological and the technological, by exploring a combination of kinetics and clashing materials, objects and forms. This eclectic concoction often suggests metaphors and analogies regarding expressions of uncertainty and contradictions. While childlike humour and dynamics can be found at the forefront of my work, running parallel looms a slightly menacing, unnerving emotion.
